Question by shawn114483: How do you add frequencies for new digital police scanners?
I need to add frequencies to my new digital police scanner but I dont know how. How do you do it?
Best answer:
Answer by TJ
Well, look at your scanner’s manual or if you don’t have the manual, do a search online for it. Just by asking how to program a digital scanner will not get you the answer you need. You didn’t state what model.

Question by kwakagirl: what is the best way to store digital photos?
I am new to the whole digital camera thing and have, of course, already got thousands of photos – mostly of my daughter – which I just cannot delete.
So far I have been burning them onto DVD’s. Is this the best way to store them or is a flashdrive a safer place? What is the least likely storage place to stuff up and lose all my prescious photos?
Cheers

A memory stick/Passport/Flash-drive would be the most convenient as you could take it anywhere and if your computer crashes or something like that then your memories will be saved!

Question by malk e: What digital camera drains the least battery power?
I am looking for a new digital camera. My only requirement is that the camera does not kill your batteries so quickly. I have a Samsung 5.0, that stupid camera is terrible. I take like 6 pics, and the batteries are dead. Then I had to recharge them again. I hate walking around with chargers and with 3 pairs of different batteries. And if I use regular batteries, they died even sooner

I have a digital rebel XT. It’s an 8mp DSLR. I can take well over 300 shots on one charge and it charges real fast too. The only thing is that I use an external flash, which helps conserve the camera’s battery. The picture quality is excellent though. Very happy with it. Like Dr Sam mentioned. IT’s the LCD viewer people use that drains the batteries too.

Question by Reinhard G: Canon Digital Ixus i camera does not start up ?
I have a lovely Canon Digital Ixus i camera, about 5 years old. However, at times the screen refuses to switch on. Once I connect it to the pc it works again for a few times. The camera is tiny and takes such great pictures. At the shop they just shrug their shoulders and want me to buy a new one. Anything you can suggest I do?

Question by : How should I start a report on digital cameras?
I have to a write report on digital cameras, but I can’t think of how to start. What should I write about? It is also hard to find a lot of information on it. Any suggestions on sites?

Answer by Phil
You should start with the history of the camera. You could talk about how the camera has changed over time and include information on what kind of changes have occurred.

Question by : what digital cameras can record video and then replay it in slo mo?
I am looking for a digital camera that can record video then I can play it back in either 120fps or 240fps. What is the cheapest one possible? Under 0? Maybe?
Best answer:
Answer by Mmm J
Actually, you want it the other way around – when recorded at 120fps or 240fps or faster, playing back at 30 fps results in slow motion playback.
Any Sony camcorder with the “SmoothSlowRecord” feature.
Casio Exelim line.
Under 0? No.

Question by Megan F: What digital camera printer should i buy?
I have a kodak easy share digital camera. I would like a printer that i can put my memory card in or hook it up directly to my camera. I want a printer that has excellent picture quality. I was wondering if anyone of you have had experience with one that you really liked.
Best answer:
Answer by Angela M
As you have the Kodak easy share camera I would definitely recommend the printer which is designed for the printer (the one where the camera sits on top)
I have had one for about a year now and I cannot fault it at all,
You basically buy a kit which consists of a drum of print and the paper.
the pros are;
the quality is excellent,
The paper that you get in the kit heat lasers the photo and then puts a protective layer making it totally scratch and waterproof.
No worrying about the best paper to buy for best quality because the packs you buy are designed for the best quality.
it is easy to use,
You can print in a several sizes (6 x 4 and smaller)
You are not limited to just photos taken on your camera (as long as you have a card in your camera you can transfer from your PC pictures to the card (or back to the card)
It has automatic red eye change on the printer dock
It is really easy to quickly print pictures (no faffing around with your PC)
You can charge you rechargeable camera batteries by docking the camera in the printer.
The only dis-advantage I can think of is you can only print 6 x 4 prints and smaller – but I use my photos excessively (I scrapbook) and rarely print larger than this.

Question by : What if you took pictures on your digital camera and there wasn’t an memory card in the camera?
What if you took pictures on your digital camera. However, there was no memory card in the slot at the time you took the pictures. Is there a way to upload them to your computer? Or are they stuck?
Two Questions:
How do I upload those photos to my computer?
Shouldn’t my camera tell me there wasn’t a memory card in there?
Best answer:
Answer by Kim
Some cameras have a small internal memory they can use, when there’s no card. You can connect the camera to a computer with a cable to get them.
Other cameras simply don’t save any pictures you take without a card. They should display some sort of message if you have no card, though–my own camera has a message on the screen and does not allow you to snap any pictures, so you immediately notice there’s no card.

Question by Mike T: How do you make pictures from a digital camera smaller?
We have a Canon Powershot SX 110 Digital Camera. If I try to post pictures online, they take forever because the files are so big. The only solution I have found is to go into Paint and manually shrink each photo. Is there some way to have the pictures come out as a smaller file either on the camera or when I am downloading them to the computer?

Answer by clayjar_azn
Your camera should have a resize option to make the image smaller. At least on my camera, I go to the image and select resize.
