Hi there…
I believe you can use a usb cable, if the sony cybershot supports it. Connect the cable to the cybershot without memory stick. And then connect it to a PC or laptop. Put the memory stick into a card reader on your PC, and then use the laptop to try to copy the pciture file from your camera to the memorystick in the card reader.
That is how I’d do it. Hope that helps!
Good luck

Question by : How do I get channels with a digital converter ?
I hooked up a digital converter and now have no channels. Are the channels different or something? What am i doing wrong?

Answer by Jake in Indiana
Well first off I assume you are hooking up your digital converter box to an antenna and not to a cable or satellite box. You only need the converter box if you use an antenna for tv. Next I would make sure you have the antenna cable plugged into the right spot on the box and then have the cable from your tv also in the right spot on the converter box.
If that isn’t it, then when you hooked up your converter did a menu come up at all? If not it make have not have scanned for channels.
Other than that I’m not sure.

Question by marion.ofsherwood: How do I get pictures from my digital camera onto my laptop?
I tried to connect them by several computer cables, but they won’t fit in the digicam, not even by force.
Could it be that my digital camera is incompatible with computers?

Your digital camera only uses ONE particular connection – you may have lost the correct one for it. You can buy adapters with many connector fittings, but the cheapest solution is to buy a memory card reader with a USB plug on one end. Insert the memory card from any camera (Several of these accept any card size), then plug the other end into the USB port.
P.S. ALL digital cameras are compatible with all computers – that is their main purpose!

I just got a Canon G10 and I love it to bits. It has 5x optical zoom which isn’t huge, but it’s better than most point and shoots. It has a bunch of knobs on top for altering the various ISO, aperture, lighting settings which let you tweak for nighttime shots to get the right exposure.
I was deciding between that and the Canon sx110, which has 10x optical zoom but fewer manual controls, and slower shot-to-shot time.
I had a Sony cybershot recently, trying something other than Canon but I went back to Canon in the end. Can’t beat their lenses (in my price range of <= 00) or the on-camera software.
It's hard to give more advice without knowing how hardcore you want your camera to be. Point and shoot? DSLR? Try http://reviews.cnet.com/digital-camera-buying-guide/ to get a feel for what you want

Question by : How much should I sell my digital camera for?
I have a Kodak EasyShare digital camera I paid for. I’m selling that with a pink camera case, a memory card, and all the things that originally came with the camera. All of the stuff is slightly used and in good condition. How much do you think its worth? I was thinking around 0 for the whole lot. Also, where would be a good place to sell it? I mean like websites and other places I could advertise it.

Question by bowchickabowwow2: How do I reconfigure a Western Digital 300G hard-drive to PC from previously being used with a Mac?
I have a 300GB Western Digital hard-drive that I previously used with my Mac Book. I now have a Netbook running Windows XP and wanted to know how to reconfigure the hard-drive. As of right now, nothing happens when I plug in my hard-drive; it seems the computer doesn’t even recognize it.

If it was formatted with HFS, you’ll have to save all of the data on the drive somewhere else, and then format the drive with FAT32 or NTFS.
There’s also talk of an add-on for Windows to allow it to read an HFS volume, but I’ve not tried it.
What do you think? Answer below!
